So what happened to the Lesterville site!?! We were just getting used to it!
Hey, us too! But these things happen, and we believe
this time it was for the better. Trust us...the new site won't leave you
disappointed!
Can I wear colors at SEMO?
Yes. SEMO is open to all bikers. Colors and
clubs are welcome, but leave any attitudes at the gate.
Does SEMO have a rain date?
Absolutely not! SEMO is a rain or shine event. If it gets muddy (and it does get
muddy sometimes!) we just get dirty. And usually have more fun doing it!
Can I bring my own cooler/grill/beer/food?
You betcha.
Additionally, cold beer and hot food vendors are located on site, and they do
appreciate your business. Bagged ice is also available for purchase.
Who do I contact about getting my band booked for SEMO?
Send an eMail to info@semofieldevents.com. If you have a demo or a website with samples of your music, it sure helps us out.
I'm really not into camping. Is other lodging available?
You bet.
for a list of local lodging facilities in Farmington, which is only 8 miles from
the SEMO grounds.
Can I race my metric/knobby tired/trike/supercharged/etc. motorcycle?
Hell yeah! We have different classes
for some bikes to keep the competition fair, but everyone is welcome to
run what they brung.
Is there a bike show?
Yes, there is a ride in bike show. Shiny plastic things
or other various prizes are awarded after the field events, depending on how
well we planned ahead!
What do I get if I win the wet t-shirt contest?
You'll
be a celebrity for the night, with what might possibly be the ugliest
fan club known to mankind! And you just can't put a price on that. But
we can, and the price is a minimum of $100 cash to the winner. So, gentlemen, get
your ladies good and liquored up, get 'em on stage, and get your
weekend paid for!
Does SEMO support any charity causes?
Each year as our way of saying thanks
to the community, SEMO makes a donation to the
local Fire/EMS Departments. These folks come to SEMO every
year to make sure everyone is safe and sound, and we appreciate their
efforts. Additionally, to help celebrate Armed Forces weekend, we make donations
to a local VFW hall. And last but not least, each year we choose a local
charity, usually veteran or community related, and make a donation to the cause.
We also utilize local merchants wherever possible when purchasing items to hold
the event.
